Then the enlightening being Truth Wisdom said to the enlightening being Vigorious Wisdom, “Very good. Child ot Buddha; you have asked about the pure practice cultivated by enlightening beings, out of compassion for the world, because you wish that many be aided and comforted, that many be benefited. Child of Buddha, you abide by the truth, you activate great vigor, increasing without recession; having already attained liberation, you arc able to pose this question, the same as an enlightened one. Listen clearly, think well upon this; now, by the spiritual power ot Buddha, I will explain a little of it for you. Lúc đó Pháp-Huệ Bồ-Tát nói với Tinh-Tấn-Huệ Bồ-Tát rằng: ‘Lành thay Phật-tử! Nay ngài muốn được nhiều lợi-ích, nhiều an-vui, nhiều ơn huệ, thương xót thế-gian chư thiên và loài người mà hỏi hạnh thanh-tịnh của Bồ-Tát tu tập như vậy. Thưa Phật-tử! Ngài trụ thiệt-pháp, phát đại-tinh-tấn, tăng-trưởng bất-thối, đã được giải-thoát, có thể hỏi như trên đây, đồng với đức Như-Lai. Ngài lóng nghe khéo suy nghĩ, nay tôi thừa oai-lực của đức Phật mà nói phần ít trong vấn đề đó....

Dharma Wisdom Bodhisattva said, “Disciple of the Buddha, this person’s merit and virtue, when compared with the merit and virtue of the Bodhisattva who has first brought forth the mind, does not equal a hundredth part of it, nor a thousandth part, nor a hundred thousandth part, and so forth up to the point that it does not equal a hundred millionth part, nor a billionth part, nor a hundred billionth part, nor a trillionth part, nor a nayuta hundred millionth part, nor a billionth nayuta part, nor a hundred billionth nayuta part, nor a trillionth nayuta part, nor a numerable part, nor a kalanth part nor a calculable part, nor an analogical part, nor even a part in an upanishad part. It does not reach even the smallest part.” Pháp-Huệ Bồ-Tát nói: ‘Này Phật-tử! Công-đức của người này đem so với công-đức sơ-phát-tâm của Bồ-Tát chẳng bằng một phần trăm, một phần ngàn, một phần trăm ngàn, một phần ức, một phần trăm ngàn na-do-tha ức, một phần số, một phần ca-la, một phần toán, một phần dụ, nhẫn đến chẳng bằng một phần ưu-ba-ni-sa-đà....

If the body were Brahma Conduct, then we should know that this Brahma Conduct would not be good, would not be Dharma, that it would be turbid, stinking and evil, and impure. That it would be disgusting, rebellious, mixed and defiled, that it would be a dead corpse, and would be a clump of worms. Nếu thân là phạm hạnh, phải biết phạm hạnh thời là chẳng phải thiện, là phi pháp, là lộn đục, là hôi xấu, là bất tịnh, là đáng nhàm, là trái nghịch, là tạp nhiễm, là tử thi, là nhóm trùng....
