Bấy giờ Phổ-Hiền Bồ-Tát bảo chư Bồ-Tát: Chư Phật-tử! Ðại Bồ-Tát có mười thứ nhẫn, nếu được nhẫn nầy thời được đến nơi vô-ngại nhẫn-địa của tất cả Bồ-tát, tất cả phật-pháp vô-ngại vô-tận. Ðây là mười nhẫn: âm-thanh nhẫn, thuận nhẫn, vô-sanh-pháp nhẫn, như huyễn nhẫn, như diệm nhẫn, như mộng nhẫn, như hưởng nhẫn, như ảnh nhẫn, như hóa nhẫn, như không nhẫn. Mười nhẫn nầy, tam-thế chư Phật đã nói, nay nói, sẽ nói. Then the great enlightening being Universally Good said to the enlightening beings, “Offspring of Buddha, great enlightening beings have ten kinds of acceptance. If you acquire these acceptances, you will manage to arrive at the stage of unhindered acceptance. What are the ten? They are acceptance of the voice of the Teaching; conformative acceptance; acceptance of the nonorigination of all things; acceptance of lllusoriness; acceptance of being miragelike; acceptance of being dreamlike; acceptance of being echohke; acceptance of being like a reflection; acceptance of being phantomlike; acceptance of being spacehke. These ten acceptances have been expounded, are being expounded, and will be expounded by the buddhas of past, present, and future...

Bấy giờ Phổ-Hiền đại Bồ-Tát bảo chư Bồ-Tát rằng:” Chư Phật-tử! Ðại bồ-Tát có mười thứ thông: Ðại Bồ-Tát dùng tha-tâm-trí-thông biết tâm sai-biệt của chúng-sanh trong một Ðại-Thiên thế-giới. Những là tâm thiện, tâm bất-thiện, tâm rộng, tâm hẹp, tâm lớn, tâm nhỏ, tâm thuận sanh tử, tâm trái sanh tử, tâm thanh-văn-hạnh, tâm Ðộc-Giác-hạnh, tâm Bồ-Tát-hạnh, tâm Thiên, tâm Long, tâm Dạ-xoa, tâm Càn-thát-bà, tâm A-tu-la, tâm Ca-lâu-la, tâm Khẩn-na-la, tâm Ma-hầu-la-già, tâm nhơn, tâm phi-nhơn, tâm địa-ngục, tâm súc-sanh, tâm xứ Diêm-ma-vương, tâm ngạ-quỷ, tâm chúng-sanh nơi các nạn-xứ. Những tâm chúng-sanh vô-lượng sai-biệt như vậy điều phân-biệt biết rõ....Then the great enlightening being Universally Good said to the enlightening beings, “Offspring of Buddha, great enlightening beings have ten kinds of superknowledge. What are the ten? By means of knowledge of others’ minds, great enlightening beings know the differences of the minds of living beings in a world system: good minds, bad minds, broad minds, narrow minds, big minds, small minds, minds that go along with birth and death, minds that turn away from birth and death, minds of learners, minds of self-enlightened ones, minds of enlightening beings, celestial minds, water-spirit minds, yaksha minds, titan minds, garuda minds, kinnara minds, mahoraga minds, human minds, nonhuman minds, hellish minds, bestial minds, netherworld minds, hungry-ghost minds, minds of beings in difficult situations. They know distinctly such countless different sentient beings: as in one world, so in a hundred worlds, a thousand worlds, a hundred thousand worlds, a billion worlds, as many worlds as atoms in untold buddha-lands — they know distinctly the minds of all beings therein. This is called great enlightening beings’ first superknowledge, the spiritual power of accurate knowledge of others’ minds....

Phật nói: “Phổ-Nhãn! Cho phép ngươi hỏi. Ta sẽ giải thuyết cho ngươi được hoan-hỷ”. Phổ-Nhãn Bồ-Tát thưa: ” Bạch đức Thế-Tôn ! Phổ-Hiền Bồ-Tát và chúng Bồ-Tát an-trụ nơi hạnh nguyện Phổ-Hiền, thành-tựu bao nhiêu tam-muội giải-thoát, mà hoặc nhập, hoặc xuất, hoặc có lúc an-trụ nơi các đại tam-muội của Bồ-Tát. Vì khéo nhập xuất nơi các đại tam-muội quảng-đại bất-tư-nghì của Bồ-Tát nên có thể ở nơi tất cả tam-muội thần-thông biến-hóa tự-tại không thôi nghỉ? “. The Buddha said, “You may ask whatever you want; I will explain for you and gladden you.” Universal Eye said, “How many concentrations and liberations have the enlightening being Universally Good and the enlightening beings who live by the vows and practices of Universal Good attained, that they may enter and exit and abide at rest in the great concentrations of enlightening beings and, by skillfully entering and emerging from the inconceivable vast state of concentration of enlightening beings, are able to command all concentrations, with ceaseless mystical powers?”

The First Ground. At that time, the World Honored One was in the royal palace in the heaven of the comfort from others’ transformations, in the hall of treasuries of mani jewels, together with a gathering of great Bodhisattvas....Bấy giờ đức Thế Tôn ngự ở điện Ma Ni Bửu Tạng trong cung của Tha Hoá Tự Tại Thiên Vương câu hội với chư đại Bồ Tát từ phương khác đến....

“Child of Buddha, you should receive the spiritual power of the Buddha and expound this teaching, to gain the protection of the Buddhas, to dwell in the house of the Buddhas, to increase transcendental virtues. To attain the light of concentration, to enter the unobstructed state of the Buddha, to illumine the realm of reality with great light, to assemble faultless pure ways, to abide in the realm of great knowledge, to attain the unimpeded light of truth.” Thiện nam tử! Ông nên thừa thần lực của Phật mà diễn pháp ấy, vì để được Phật hộ niệm, vì an trụ nhà Phật, vì thêm lớn công đức xuất thế, vì được đà la ni quang minh, vì nhập Phật pháp vô ngại, vì đại quang chiếu khắp pháp giới, vì họp pháp thanh tịnh không lỗi, vì trụ cảnh giới trí quảng đại, vì được pháp quang vô ngại....

Then the World Honored One emanated countless beams of light from the wheel marks on his knees, illuminating the entire space of the cosmos in the ten directions. The enlightening beings in all worlds all saw this miraculous display of the Buddha, and the enlightening beings here saw the miraculous displays of all the Buddhas in other worlds. Bấy giờ đức Thế Tôn từ hai gối phóng trăm ngàn ức na do tha quang minh, chiếu khắp tất cả thế giới tận pháp giới hư không giới. Chúng Bồ Tát ở các cõi kia đều thấy thần biến của Ðức Phật ở đây. Chúng Bồ Tát ở cõi đây đều thấy biến của tất cả Chư Phật kia....

THEN, BY THE SPIRITUAL POWER of the Buddha, in each continent Jambu of every world in the ten directions was seen the Buddha sitting under a tree, at each of which were enlightening beings imbued with spiritual power from the Buddha expounding the teaching, each thinking themselves to be always face to face with the Buddha, Lúc bây giờ, do thần-lực của đức phật, thập phương tất cả thế-giới, trong mỗi Diêm-Phù-Ðề đều thấy đức Phật ngự dưới cây bồ-đề, đều có Bồ-Tát thừa oai-lực của Phật mà thuyết pháp, không ai chẳng cho rằng đức Phật luôn ở trước mình....

At that time, Forest of Merit and Virtue Bodhisattva further told all the Bodhisattvas, “Disciples of the Buddha, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas have ten kinds of treasuries which all the Buddhas of the past have spoken about, all the Buddhas of the future will speak about, and all the Buddhas of the present are speaking about.” “What are the ten? They are the Treasury of Belief, the Treasury of Precepts, the Treasury of Shame, the Treasury of Remorse, the Treasury of Learning, the Treasury of Giving, the Treasury of Wisdom, the Treasury of Mindfulness, the Treasury of Upholding, and the Treasury of Eloquence. Those are the ten.” Lúc bấy giờ Công-Ðức-Lâm Bồ-Tát lại nói với chư Bồ-Tát rằng: Chư Phật tử! Ðại Bồ-Tát có mười tạng sau đây mà tam-thế chư Phật đã nói sẽ nói và hiện nay nói: Tín-tạng, giới-tạng, tàm-tạng, quý-tạng, văn-tạng, thí-tạng, huệ-tạng, niệm-tạng, trì-tạng, biện-tạng....

Then the Buddhas bestowed on the enlightening being Forest of Virtues unobstructed knowledge, unattached knowledge, uninterrupted knowledge, teacherless knowledge, knowledge without folly, unvarying knowledge, unerring knowledge, immeasurable knowledge, invincible knowledge, unflagging knowledge, and knowledge that cannot be taken away. Why? Because the power of this concentration is naturally thus. Này Phật-tử! Ông nên thừa oai-lực của Phật mà diễn thuyết pháp thập hạnh này. Chư Phật khuyên cáo xong, liền ban cho Công-Ðức-Lâm Bồ-Tát vô-ngại-trí, vô-trước-trí, vô-đoạn-trí, vô-sư-trí, vô-si-trí, vô-dị-trí, vô-thất-trí, vô-lượng-trí, vô-thắng-trí, vô-giải-đãi-trí, vô-đoạt-trí. Tại sao vậy? Vì công-lực của tam-muội này là như vậy.....

Having come to the Buddha, these enlightening beings bowed at the Buddha’s feet, then each made jewel bank lion scats in their respective directions and sat thereupon. As in this world enlightening beings gathered this way in the Suyama heaven, so did this also take place in all worlds; the names of the enlightening beings, their worlds, and the Buddhas they associated with, were all the same. Chư Bồ-Tát này đến dưới bửu-tòa đảnh lễ Phật, rồi theo phương của mình đến đều riêng hóa hiện tòa sư-tử liên-hoa-tạng mà ngồi kiết-già trên đó. Tất cả Dạ-Ma thiên ở thập-phương thế-giới đều như thế cả. Bồ-Tát, quốc-độ và Như-Lai cũng đồng danh, đồng hiệu như trên.....
